- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil peeled and cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, 15–20 minutes.
- Mash potatoes with butter and milk until creamy; season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper; simmer 5 minutes.
- Spread beef filling in a baking dish; top with mashed potatoes and create peaks.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until potato topping is golden and edges bubble.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
