Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 avocados ripe, sliced
  • 4 slices bread toasted
  • 4 slices bacon cooked crisp
  • 2 slices cheese cheddar or provolone
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or aioli

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook chicken in a hot skillet or grill pan for 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Rest chicken for 5 minutes, then slice.
  4. Toast bread slices until golden.
  5. Spread mayonnaise or aioli on toasted bread.
  6. Layer lettuce, chicken, cheese, bacon, avocado, and tomato.
  7. Close sandwich, slice in half, and serve.

Notes

Use ripe avocados and freshly cooked chicken for best results.
