Ingredients
  

Peanut Butter Layer
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Topping
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking pan
  • Spatula
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Line a baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. Beat peanut butter and softened butter together until smooth.
  3. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until thick and creamy.
  4. Press mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth.
  6. Spread melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter layer.
  7. Refrigerate until fully set, then slice into bars and serve.

Notes

For clean slices, chill thoroughly and wipe knife between cuts.
