Thai Basil Beef Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 red chili finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Sauté garlic and chili until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and cook 2–3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in Thai basil and lime juice.
  5. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves, top with carrots and mint, and serve.

Notes

Assemble rolls just before serving to keep lettuce crisp.
