  • 4 butter croissants large
  • 6 slices bacon thick-cut
  • 0.75 cup blue cheese crumbled
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or chives optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain and crumble.
  3. Slice croissants horizontally, keeping one side intact.
  4. Spread softened butter lightly inside each croissant.
  5. Fill with blue cheese and crumbled bacon.
  6. Drizzle honey evenly over the filling.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and croissants are warm.
  8. Finish with black pepper and herbs. Serve warm.

Notes

Use high-quality all-butter croissants for best results. Avoid overfilling.
