- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until batter forms.
- Fold in chopped pecans gently.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and top with extra pecans.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
