Pasta Dish
  • 12 oz pasta any shape
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup fresh basil chopped

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter; sauté mushrooms until golden.
  3. Add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in cream; add Parmesan and stir until smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta; toss and add pasta water to adjust consistency.
  6. Stir in basil, adjust seasoning, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, use oil from the sun-dried tomato jar.
