Ingredients
  

Blondie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Topping
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce
  • 0.5 tsp flaky sea salt

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Fold in dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in pecans.
  6. Spread batter in pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
  7. Cool, drizzle caramel, sprinkle sea salt, slice.

Notes

For extra chewiness, chill batter 20 minutes before baking.
