Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place jalapeños on a baking sheet.
- Roast 15–20 minutes until skins blister. Steam, peel, deseed, and chop.
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar, Monterey Jack, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and roasted jalapeños.
- Butter the outside of each bread slice.
- Spread jalapeño popper filling inside and assemble sandwiches.
- Cook over medium-low heat until golden and cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve warm with optional honey drizzle.
Notes
Adjust spice level by removing seeds or adding more peppers.
