Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, salt, and paprika.
- Cream softened butter until smooth, then mix in shredded cheddar.
- Add the flour mixture and mix on low speed until combined.
- Fold in the lightly crushed Rice Krispies gently.
- Add cold water as needed just until dough comes together.
- Form 1-inch dough balls and place on baking sheet.
- Flatten balls slightly with fingers or a glass bottom.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Cool fully on wire racks before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cayenne pepper or garlic powder.
