  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 tbsp raspberry jam optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk sugar and eggs together until combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold melted chocolate into egg mixture until smooth.
  5. Sift in flour and salt, fold gently until combined.
  6. Mash raspberries with jam. Layer half chocolate batter in pan, spoon raspberry mixture, then remaining chocolate. Swirl gently.
  7. Bake 35-40 minutes until center is set but fudgy.
  8. Cool completely, lift out with parchment, cut into bars.
