- Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles.
- Add butter and allow it to melt into the sausage.
- Sprinkle flour over sausage and cook 2 minutes to form a roux.
- Slowly pour in milk while stirring until gravy begins to thicken.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, and optional smoked paprika.
- Simmer 3–5 minutes until thick and creamy. Serve over warm biscuits.
Notes
For thinner gravy, add extra milk. For thicker gravy, simmer longer.
