Ingredients
  

Casserole
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 12 oz egg noodles cooked and drained
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
Topping
  • 1 cup buttered breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz crackers
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package directions and drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream soups, milk, and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Add spices, shredded chicken, peas, and cheeses. Mix well.
  5. Fold in cooked noodles and mix gently.
  6. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Combine melted butter with breadcrumbs or crushed crackers and sprinkle over the top.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Let the casserole sit for 10 minutes before serving for cleaner slices.
