Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic, taco seasoning, and salsa. Simmer for 2–3 minutes and remove from heat.
- Warm tortillas slightly so they are pliable.
- Sprinkle cheese on each tortilla, add meat filling, then top with more cheese.
- Fold tortillas and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until tortillas are crisp and cheese is melted.
- Cool slightly before serving with desired toppings.
Notes
For extra crisp tacos, brush tortillas lightly with oil before baking.
