Method
- Place the chuck roast into the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the roast.
- Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix over the ranch seasoning.
- Add the pepperoncini peppers around and on top of the roast.
- Pour the pepperoncini juice evenly over the beef.
- Place the butter on top of the roast.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until fork-tender.
- Shred the beef in the cooker, mix with juices, and serve hot.
Notes
For best results, use well-marbled chuck roast and do not add extra liquid.
