Ingredients
  

Mini Quiche Hearts
  • 12 pre-made mini pastry shells heart-shaped if possible
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • 6 cherry tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon or ham optional, chopped
  • fresh herbs parsley, chives, optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk eggs and cream together, add salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in cheese, chopped spinach, cherry tomatoes, and optional bacon or ham.
  4. Spoon egg mixture into mini pastry shells on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake 18–20 minutes until egg is set and tops are lightly golden.
  6. Cool slightly, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Can be baked in advance and reheated gently before serving.
