Ingredients
  

Lasagna
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.5 lb Italian sausage
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 egg

  • Mixing bowls
  • 9x13 baking dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown beef and sausage with onion and garlic. Stir in sauce and simmer.
  4. Mix ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, egg, and cheeses until smooth.
  5. Layer sauce, noodles, cheese mixture repeatedly in baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheese. Cover and bake 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Rest 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allow lasagna to rest before cutting for clean slices.
