Casserole Base
  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese small curd
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 1 cup buttery crackers crushed
  • 0.25 cup butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken until evenly coated.
  5. Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  7. Combine crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over casserole.
  8. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
