Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 3 English cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 0.5 tsp salt for draining cucumbers
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp smoked paprika optional
  • 0.25 cup fresh dill chopped
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

Method
 

  1. Slice cucumbers and sprinkle lightly with salt. Let drain 20–30 minutes.
  2. Pat cucumbers completely dry to remove excess moisture.
  3. Whisk sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Stir in chopped dill.
  5. Add cucumbers and toss gently to coat.
  6. Fold in bacon, reserving some for garnish.
  7. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best texture, serve within 24 hours and garnish with fresh bacon just before serving.
