Dip Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 3 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt or to taste

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, reserving some for garnish.
  4. Stir in crumbled bacon and green onions, saving a small amount for topping.
  5. Transfer dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top.
  6. Garnish with remaining cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

Serve chilled with sturdy potato chips. Best enjoyed within 3 days.
