Method
- Line a 9x9-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, zest, vanilla, and salt.
- Fold in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
- Press mixture gently into prepared pan.
- Let set at room temperature 30–45 minutes, then cut into squares.
Notes
Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Do not overheat marshmallows.
