Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast cut into strips
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Prepare batter using flour, cornstarch, egg, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken strips evenly in batter.
  3. Fry chicken in hot oil until golden and crispy.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger in oil.
  5. Add chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, and water.
  6. Simmer sauce until slightly thick.
  7. Toss fried chicken in sauce and garnish.

Serve immediately to keep the chicken crispy.
