Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes cold or room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Skillet or griddle

Method
 

  1. Combine mashed potatoes, butter, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough.
  3. Shape dough into a round and cut into four wedges.
  4. Cook on a hot skillet until golden on both sides.

Notes

Do not overwork the dough to keep farls tender.
