Ingredients
  

Curry
  • 2 lbs beef chuck cubed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1 cup tomatoes crushed
  • 0.5 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup beef broth

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Mixing bowls
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Brown beef in oil and set aside.
  2. Cook onions until golden, add garlic and ginger.
  3. Stir in spices and toast briefly.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook until thickened.
  5. Stir in yogurt carefully.
  6. Return beef, add broth, and simmer until tender.

Notes

Flavor improves after resting overnight.
