Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy, about 5–10 minutes.
- Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil to form a dough.
- Knead dough on floured surface until smooth, 6–8 minutes.
- Let dough rise 1–1.5 hours or until doubled.
- Divide dough, roll into ropes, and tie into knots. Place on baking sheet.
- Let knots rise 20 minutes.
- Mix butter, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, seasoning, and salt.
- Brush knots lightly with butter mixture and bake 12–14 minutes.
- Brush with remaining garlic butter before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add more Parmesan or brush with garlic butter twice.
