Ingredients
  

Donuts
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
Chocolate Drizzle
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Equipment

  • Donut pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Wire rack
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease donut pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Beat wet ingredients in separate bowl.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until smooth.
  5. Spoon batter into donut pan, ¾ full.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes, cool 5 minutes, transfer to wire rack.
  7. Melt chocolate and coconut oil, drizzle over cooled donuts.

Notes

Do not overmix to keep donuts soft; adjust sweetness as desired.
