Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and dark chocolate together until smooth. Cool slightly.
- Whisk sugars, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.
- Whisk in melted chocolate mixture.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Pour half batter into pan, add caramel, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool completely and sprinkle with sea salt before slicing.
Notes
For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake and allow to set while cooling.
