Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp milk

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar.
  4. Add egg, vanilla, and gochujang paste and mix well.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden. Cool completely.

Notes

Drizzle caramel and sprinkle sea salt before serving.
