Ingredients
  

Turkey Burger Mixture
  • 1 lb ground turkey 93% lean
  • 2 cups fresh spinach finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup onion finely minced
  • 1 egg large
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs or oat flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Finely chop spinach and squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients until just mixed.
  3. Form mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  6. Rest burgers for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix to keep burgers tender and juicy.
