Fluffy DIY Whipped Rose Body Butter

Ingredients
  

Body Butter Base
  • 1 cup shea butter
  • 0.5 cup cocoa butter
  • 0.5 cup sweet almond oil
  • 2 tbsp jojoba oil
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 10 drops rose essential oil adjust to preference

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Heat-safe bowl
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Melt shea butter and cocoa butter gently using a double boiler.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and vitamin E oil.
  3. Chill mixture until partially solid but soft.
  4. Whip with mixer until light and fluffy.
  5. Add rose essential oil and whip briefly again.
  6. Transfer to jars and allow to set.

Notes

Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid introducing water.
