Ingredients
  

Body Butter Base
  • 1 cup shea butter
  • 0.5 cup cocoa butter or mango butter
  • 0.5 cup sweet almond oil
  • 0.25 cup fractionated coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp arrowroot powder
  • 10 drops rose essential oil or to preference
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Spatula
  • Glass jars

Method
 

  1. Gently melt shea butter and cocoa butter using a double boiler.
  2. Stir in sweet almond oil and coconut oil until combined.
  3. Cool mixture until semi-solid but soft.
  4. Whip with mixer until light and fluffy.
  5. Add arrowroot powder, rose oil, and vitamin E oil. Whip again.
  6. Transfer to jars and store in a cool place.

Notes

For sensitive skin, reduce essential oil or replace with rose-infused oil.
