Ingredients
  

Vanilla Sponge Cake
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
Strawberry Filling
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
Vanilla Mousse
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Bake vanilla sponge cake and cool completely.
  2. Prepare strawberry filling and allow to cool.
  3. Whip vanilla mousse until light and fluffy.
  4. Assemble mousse, filling, and sponge in dome molds.
  5. Freeze domes until firm, then decorate.

Notes

Freeze fully before glazing for best results.
