- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with 12 cupcake liners.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
- Mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk until smooth.
- Divide batter among cupcake liners and bake 18–20 minutes or until set.
- Cool cupcakes completely on a wire rack.
- Beat butter with powdered sugar and vanilla. Add cream to reach desired frosting consistency.
- Frost cupcakes, place a strawberry upside down, and add a frosting dot on top.
Notes
Ensure strawberries are fully dry before placing on frosting.
