Ingredients
  

Soup Base
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
Vegetables & Garnishes
  • 2 cups baby spinach or bok choy chopped
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 medium carrot julienned, optional
Potstickers
  • 12-16 dumplings/potstickers frozen or fresh, pork, chicken, or vegetarian

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. In a large pot, combine broth, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring to gentle boil.
  2. Add potstickers and cook until cooked through (5–7 min frozen, 3–4 min fresh).
  3. Stir in spinach or bok choy and carrots. Cook 1–2 minutes until greens are wilted.
  4. Taste broth and adjust seasoning. Serve garnished with green onions and optional sesame oil or chili oil.

Notes

Store broth and vegetables separately from dumplings for best texture when reheating.
