- Rinse blackberries and place in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Crush berries gently as they warm.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, zest, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat.
- Simmer 20–25 minutes until thickened.
- Cool slightly and transfer to jars.
Notes
Jam thickens more as it cools. Adjust sugar to taste.
