Ingredients
  

Salsa Chicken
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 16 oz salsa
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced, optional
  • 1 tbsp lime juice optional

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Mixing spoon
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Add garlic or lime juice if using.
  4. Pour salsa over the chicken.
  5. Cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  7. Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix well.
  8. Serve hot in tacos, bowls, nachos, or wraps.
