Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in honey, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  6. Fold in toasted sesame seeds.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  8. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on wire rack.

Notes

Do not overbake to maintain chewy texture.
