Ingredients
  

Brioche
  • 1 loaf brioche bread cut into 1-inch cubes
Custard
  • 8 eggs large
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place brioche cubes evenly in the prepared dish.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt.
  4. Pour custard over brioche, pressing gently to soak.
  5. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
  6. Bake uncovered 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Cool 5–10 minutes and serve with desired toppings.

Notes

Optional: top with fresh berries, nuts, or whipped cream.
