Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 8 eggs large
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 cups day-old bread cubed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer bread cubes evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Top with cooked sausage and shredded cheeses.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until set and golden.
