Chicken & Coating
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs bone-in or boneless
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp pepper
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs or panko
Hot Honey Glaze
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley optional
  • to taste red chili slices optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip chicken in beaten egg, then coat with flour mixture and breadcrumbs.
  4. Bake chicken 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  5. Heat honey, hot sauce, and butter in a small saucepan to combine.
  6. Drizzle glaze over baked chicken and garnish with parsley and chili slices.
