Ingredients
  

Tiramisu Base
  • 24 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1.5 cups espresso cooled
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur optional
  • 2 tbsp sugar
Mascarpone Cream
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Millionaire Layer
  • 0.75 cup caramel sauce
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate finely grated

Method
 

  1. Mix espresso, sugar, and coffee liqueur in a bowl.
  2. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  5. Dip ladyfingers quickly in coffee mixture and layer in dish.
  6. Spread mascarpone cream over ladyfingers.
  7. Drizzle caramel and sprinkle grated chocolate.
  8. Repeat layers then dust cocoa powder on top.
  9. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Chill overnight for best flavor and texture.
