Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz penne pasta uncooked
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups broth vegetable or chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Set Instant Pot to sauté and heat olive oil. Add onion and cook until softened.
  2. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  3. Add penne pasta, broth, and seasonings. Secure lid and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  4. Quick release pressure and open lid carefully.
  5. Stir in cream cheese, heavy cream, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  6. Adjust seasoning and let sit 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Add cooked chicken or vegetables for a complete meal.
