Ingredients
  

Hummus Base
  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 0.25 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.25 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2-4 tbsp cold water

Method
 

  1. Add chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add turmeric, cumin, and salt.
  4. Blend again while slowly adding cold water until creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve in a bowl topped with olive oil, paprika, and parsley.

Notes

Blend longer for an ultra creamy hummus texture.
