- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
- Spread sliced apples evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Whisk eggs and sugar together until light.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Whisk in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour batter over apples.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool before slicing and serving.

Best served slightly warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
