Ingredients
  

Mint Dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp peppermint extract
  • 3 drops food coloring optional
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar for rolling

Equipment

  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Mix in peppermint extract.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar until dough forms.
  4. Color dough as desired.
  5. Roll into balls and flatten with fork.
  6. Allow to dry at room temperature until set.

Notes

Dry 12–24 hours for firm exterior and creamy center.
