Ingredients
  

Cowboy Butter Sauce
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp honey optional

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant without browning.
  3. Stir in mustard, lemon juice, zest, red pepper flakes, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add fresh parsley and chives; remove from heat.
  5. Stir in honey if desired and adjust seasoning.
  6. Serve warm as a dip or drizzle.
