Ingredients
  

Brioche Toast Base
  • 4 slices brioche bread thick cut
  • 2 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup milk or cream
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter for cooking
Toppings
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • powdered sugar optional garnish
  • cocoa powder optional dusting

Method
 

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla in a shallow bowl until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt butter evenly.
  3. Dip each brioche slice into the custard mixture, soaking briefly on both sides.
  4. Place soaked brioche onto the skillet and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate over hot toast and allow it to melt gently.
  6. Transfer toast to plates and top with sliced strawberries.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar or cocoa powder if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture and flavor. Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
