- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add mixed vegetables and broth; bring to a simmer.
- Sprinkle flour over mixture and stir to thicken.
- Mix biscuit topping ingredients in a bowl until just combined.
- Pour beef filling into a greased baking dish. Drop biscuit dough over the top.
- Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra richness, brush biscuits with melted butter after baking.
