Method
- Wash and thoroughly dry tomatoes and basil leaves.
- Thread one cherry tomato onto each skewer, followed by a medium mozzarella ball and a smaller mozzarella ball.
- Insert small carrot pieces into the top mozzarella ball to form noses.
- Press peppercorns gently into the mozzarella to create eyes and buttons.
- Fold basil leaves and place between mozzarella layers as scarves.
- Arrange skewers on a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
