Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 cups chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil for frying
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha adjust for spice
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced, for garnish
  • 4 bamboo skewers soaked in water 30 mins

Equipment

  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Bamboo skewers

Method
 

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and egg until evenly coated.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. Drain chicken on paper towels and thread onto skewers.
  5. Prepare bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and garlic powder.
  6. Brush or drizzle sauce over the skewers generously.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
